F-16 capabilities and disablilities Empty F-16 capabilities and disablilities

Post  nlairforce Tue Sep 01, 2009 9:43 am

EDIT!

We now have a different f-16 which is more realistic. The handling is very good, and dragnoxz thinks the same about it.
Positives and negatives
+:
It handles smooth, it doesnt stall when making a full turn, if you make a turn to the right or left and put the Afterburner on you will accelerate so be careful not to pull too many G's, hcan owever this is a positive thing about the craft.
It is realistic, if you land you can keep the nose up while braking on the ground creating more drag to stop faster.

-:
If you make a J-turn down, you need to be around 3500 ft above the ground else it will be likely to crash.

Its good to know someone else is also doing research and posting it up for all to see, good work, and if you can get some VC pics and external views of the plane on here so we all can see progress you've made on it ?

simviation.com has all of the airplane downloads you could ever want. If your looking for higher quality stuff, then you can try payware. Alphasim makes really good quality planes. Kirk Olsson makes a lot of good freeware f-16 models.

Ehm, there is no alphasim F-16. Though there is an IRIS simulations F-16D and an Aerosoft F-16C, which i both have.

OK I wasn't sure if alphasim had an f-16. I was just saying that they have good planes. F-16s are easy to get anyway, and simviations the best place for most planes.

Thanks for all the help guys, I think I'll just stick with the Abacus Fighter Pilot 2 F-16. You guys should download the Rollus Mirage 2000-5 if you are Mirage fans. The best Mirage freeware there is.

I already have the Rollus mirage. And im a BIG mirage fan.

About that abacus stuff, If you want the worst level of realism, you should get it. Even freeware is better with graphics and more realistic.

Yeah I agree that Abacus stuff isn;t too good. Their utilities for fsx (FSRepaint and FS Design Studio are pretty good tho.
