Rocket Smoke Effects

Yea, I have run into a prob with the Rocket Effects, and it is the same problem that I have alwayse had, though I am not sure how to fix it.

The rockets fire every time I throttle up and down, and it sort of makes a mess of things, if you know what I mean, lol. I am trying to figure out how to make it so that only when pressing the smoke button fires the weapons, and not wher I move the throtle back and forth. If anyone can help out that would be great, and if not, then every time pilots thotle up they will shoot things while taxing, lol.

You could cheat and use Slew Mode to move your aircraft!! LOL

Hi dragonxz and all you from GPEO.
I'm really new to this and havn't even signed up for GPEO but i'm real interested. (You may already know this) Your rocket effect going every time you throttle up may be because it is attached to the "taxi lights". Some 3rd party aircraft make it so that when you throttle to the max it turns on the taxi lights. (Of course then they make the taxi lights an afterburner effect). Try assigning your rocket effect to a different light switch button, or if you want, you can attach it to your smoke system instead of the lights system so that it will fire when you press "i".

Yo, thx for the info, though I am not as experianced in doing anything with CFG files yet, only how to put the effects in, the rocket effects are in the smoke area, we press 'I' and they shoot but also when the throttle moves back & orth they also fire, I may need a Idiots guied on how to fix it all, lol. Thx again for the intel !

I'm not sure if you've released your effects or if they are only available to GPEO memers or anything but if they are for everyone if you could tell me where to get them, I might be able to do some testing stuff on them to try to fix it. I'm fairly good with cfg but not so much with xml, but i might be able to do something.

Yea, I will PM you the link, withthe effects, but you will need Skype if you are goin to get the F-15GU, it is not up on a link yet.

Ok, I've fixed the afterburner controller so that it stops the smoke system from being activated at 90% N1. To download the fix go here:http://www.megaupload.com/?d=K0LH6P1W
You also must have the original GPEO f15e strike eagle available from Dragnoxz.
Hope the fix workes for you. I've tested it and it works for me. Remeber to read the README if you don't know how to install the gauges fix. Type in the code at top right corner of screen for the download.
