Controversy Over CG-OMBU Wargames - Associated Press 10.17.10

Jackson Withers (Columbus, Ohio) - A third round of protests outside the Capital Guardians embassy in Columbus, Ohio today, over the Capital Guardians' recent war games with the OMBU. There have been multiple protests outside the embassy since the war game between the CG and OMBU, over OMBU airspace. Protesters wished for the CG government to end the war games, claiming they were a violation of OMBU sovereignty.

In a return statement, the Capital Guardians issued the following statement: "We are not looking to provoke the OMBU. The intent of the war games is to assist the OMBU in their training, and help the OMBU be better prepared for future threats. We are only looking out for our neighbor."

Three arrests were made, including one man who threw a brick over the fence. He was subdued by local authorities. There were no injuries or property damage.

Other News...:
Shots have been fired near the Pentagon, from what is believed to be a high velocity rifle. Two windows were shattered, but no one was injured. Investigates are seeing if there is any connection to the shots fired at the Former US Marine Corps Museum over the weekend. No bullet casings have been found or suspects identified.

We have no reason to believe that the OMBU, or any other faction was involved in this incident.

FLASH NEWS BULLETIN: Several Molotov Cocktails have been tossed over the fence onto embassy premises, wounding at least one guard. The men have been taken into CG custody, and the crowd was repulsed with tear gas.

Also, The Capital Guardians claim to have received an anonymous tip that the shooter at the Pentagon was a known member of an OMBU terrorist group. The group is NOT related to the OMBU government.

It is possible that hostilities may erupt at the protest outside the OMBU embassy, scheduled for tomorrow. Metro police have been informed, and CG Troops are being deployed to assist in security.
